HOW COULD SHE DO THIS TO ME?

What is the best book to read that will help me learn to control my anger? I'm tired of my fight-or-flight response going out of control every time someone disagrees with me. Instead of calmly debating the facts, my legs shake, my fists clench, and I can't even look at them. I can't stand it anymore; I feel like no one takes me seriously when I get upset over tiny criticisms and that makes me even madder to the point I lose my composure. I can't argue with someone without ending up in tears, it's mortifying.

I need something more meaningful than just the old same cliche "Take deep breaths, count backwards from ten, think about something else instead" garbage. I'm sure I could do all that if I remained in control of myself but the problem is that I lose control, so "JUST, LIKE, DON'T GET ANGRY, BRO" doesn't help me.

Also discuss self-help and self-cultivation literature here I guess.
