Indeed.
>Just as virtue gives the soul its beauty, so sin makes it ugly.

Christ never did because he was the image and standard for perfection; the word made flesh. Lust, by its nature, causes reason to be disordered, insofar as a single thought inclines one to vice. Even Lucifer did not dare to tempt Christ to sins of the Flesh, because it is the lowest and most imperfect part of our humanity that robs us of our rationality and blinds our understanding of the immutable and only good.

Pornography because it encourages, normalizes and reduces human sexuality to being a function of hedonism to be done anywhere, anytime, with anyone, and brings with it blindness and obstinacy, which in total, allow a world where abortion is not just permissible but common place. Pornography, naturally involves scandal, which is worse than an abortion or murder, because with those, you kill only the the body; with scandal, you damn their entire souls to a eternity of misery. Aborted children, as Christ himself assures us, "let the children come to me, do not hinder them", are among the elect, and receive eternal salvation without any of the sacraments. Whereas the scandalous, Christ admonished with the worst chastisement, "but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a great millstone fastened round his neck and to be drowned in the depth of the sea."
In the words of St. Alphonsus
>A greater sin than if, by one discharge of a blunderbuss, you murdered many persons; because you would then only kill their bodies: but, by speaking obscenely, you have killed their souls.

Like the sow wallowing in the mire, they are so immersed in their own filth, they no longer see the malice or consequences of/to their actions. Everyone else is just as covered as they are. They cannot see life without this because they made it their highest focus in life. As such, reason is disordered and is no ordered by rationality after perfection, but is subjugated to sensual appetites. Rather than the individual ordering them with reason, the appetites order the reason of the individual to do its bidding even when it is not in the interest of the person. Then, as these appetites are fed, vice inherently leads to habit, which itself is a demon all its own in terms of how strongly it grasps the one afflicted. They become like a straw, hopeless but to be blown around by every passing wind. An image. A woman. A message. A word. A thought. That is all it takes for them to go back to the vomit and repeat their folly time and again.

Why are Christians so obsessed with rationally proving the existence of God? In every other religion they just accept the existence of their god(s) as an axiom and don't feel the need to prove them with common sense logic.
