The importance of values in the arts.

To me the forms of Modernism like those of Ezra Pound, James Joyce, Samuel Beckett and Thomas Pynchon are incredibly depressing and I think the people who like them are losers and wankers. I wouldnt say they are bad writers though.

For me the only kind of Modernists who I like are ones like William Yeats, William Gaddis and maybe David Wallace and I dont think its surprising that these Modernist are unpopular. The vast majority of people in the arts are charlatans and the arts become more charlatanic every day.
