Christ and the apostles regularly quoted from the OT and followed its moral laws and the prophets, saying not to change anything.

You can't cherry pick the bible and say you prefer the OT or the NT better, it's a complete package. Either you acccept Christ as Lord and Saviour, or you think he was a liar or fabrication.
