I agree with this, brief moments of peace are much more worthwhile within a lifetime of suffering rather than an eternity. For me it's less of moments of peace, but more for moments of beauty, although I suppose those two can be the same things. I find there is beauty to be found in suffering. Those moments when I am down, depressed, and I'm staring out a window on a rainy day while music plays. All of my senses were overwhelmed with beauty and emotion in that moment. It was nothing of pleasure or peace, but it was something worthwhile when suffering usually seems meaningless. That is what I live for.
