Newfag here, with questions. I like Fantasy but I've not read much Sci-Fi.
In particular I have never read anything from Asimov or Heinlein. I've some Philip K. Dick and found it ok. My favorite books are Tolkien's Children of Hurin, the Once and Future King by White, and Shakespeare's Richard II. I would venture to say I dislike "pulpy" novels. Are Asimov and Heinlein worth reading and if so what would you say are the essential or best representative works of theirs?
