Specifically the tantras and Kali.
I can never quite come across any sturdy commentary about under what conditions Kali comes forward.
There are some obvious ones, like repression, pacificity, fruitless dogma, non-generative systems/egos.

Id like to know more about this figure and when she shows up to swing her blade.

anyone have a primer for learning about ancient hindu black magic or just eastern occultism in general? All you ever hear about is the western side of things.
