I hate yuros, but I gotta give them props for pushing English real hard in their schools. Not all of them know English, sure, but every yuro I met there who had a triple-digit IQ spoke fluent English on top of their national language. In some places, trilingualism is actually commonplace.

Somebody please explain to me what the point of slam poetry is.

I'm not denying that it's an art form, and I try to keep an open mind for everything, but I just can't get behind slam. I think it's fucking retarded. I've probably watched a hundred slams so far. Is it because of the types of people that slam poetry attracts that makes me hate it so much? Or is it the performance itself?

I'm trying to live a more ascetic life by cutting out masturbation and casual sex.
