It's not nihilism when the self is clearly valued. There is a hierarchy of values, just not a very complicated one. Therefore it is not nihilism.

Also, it is kind of typical that you suggest the victim role in a case of lawlessness. When I think of the absence of such obstacles, I think of all I would be able to do. You seem to think of all the things that can be done to you. I look for freedom, you look for safety. In the latter case herd morality is indeed often the better choice. That said, I don't want to risk my hide uslessly. I rather be a wolf amongst sheep than a wolf amongst wolves. I'd rather be the only Stirnerist than one of many.

The fay guy you see with a pretty girl might have more money. Or he is really nice to her. If she goes with the latter, do not mistake that for something deep. Nice guys do what their girl wants, boost her ego and spoil her as much as they can because they realise she's too beautiful for them. She will also never have to worry about a nice fat guy cheating on her or leaving her for someone better. Hell, she might even get away with getting caught cheating on him. She settles for him and he knows this. He will be forever in her debt. It's the utmost security. It's a pretty good choice strategically speaking, especially if he has a bit of cash to go along with it.

Choosing a nice person over a good looking one is in a way more worthy of contempt than the other way around. A good looking partner is a trophy, a nice ugly one is a servant.

Well, of course I don't believe that after my death I will dance with unicorns through eternity or something like that. I'm still a rational being. But in the case of arbitrary matters, I'd rather go with the thing that I prefer. In this case that is the existence of other entities.

Apart from that, the whole solipsism question doesn't matter all that much. It would be saying that all is my mind. This changes nothing, it's just a form of monism.

I don't think solipsism has any practical implications, apart from the label you put on the totality of things.
