What does /lit/ think about Albert Camus ?

Is Absurdism the end game of philosophy? Also, what are some essential Absurdist works, other than the obvious "The Myth of Sisyphus?" Any anti-absurdist works one should read to understand opposing arguments?

Literary prowess and intellectual intelligence aside, who were/are the most effay or /fa/shionable authors?

Please give me resources to overcoming this overwhelming existential crisis I'm experiencing. I just feel so alone in this world and any literature I read doesn't seem to help.

Hello /lit/ I am new to the board and I keep reading how Camus is shit. What's so shit about him? I really enjoyed the Plague and the Stranger as well as his short stories.
Are those bad and I just didn't realize it?

As a senior in high school, for an "honors class" we are required to do book reports. I did The Stranger by Camus and Crime and Punishment. I want to read something that will challenge the audience.Any ideas for novels that will shock/and or awe my classmates?

Hey /lit/, what do you think of this man? A friend got me The Stranger for my birthday, but I haven't had the time to read it yet. I was thinking of getting some of his other books during Bookdepository's Christmas discounts, but I'm not sure which ones to get first.

Care to share some thoughts on his works besides The Stranger?

Jesus. I just did a quick 'lovecraft tattoo' google search and I can't believe the amount of morons that have tattooed his facsimile on their bodies. Literally the least spooky of images, with little to none creativity, the aesthetic equivalent of getting a tattoo of pic related because "I'm such a big nihilist".

I want to get into Camus. What book should I start with?

Is it bad that I find Camus to be one of the most important philosophers when it comes to my own personal mind set? There is just so much he touches on that connects with me. I guess even asking if it's bad is kind of lame though.

Really I just wanted to make a thread about Camus and the absurd.
