Do you think texting/emoticons/emoji are breaking down the significance of words? I just sent a text and realize I forgot an "it" which makes the sentence make like no sense and I didnt even realize

/lit/, what do you think about stories that appears to be about one thing and then just kind of... "changes direction"? You know, like the main-conflict is resolved about a third into the book and replaced with another.
Also: let´s say that it´s perfectly clear that this was intentional, that the author wasn´t just improvising.

Ok guys, Im going to be short and to the point. I need to write a short poem with a theme of hope for a project Im doing, only i havent got a clue about poetry. Could one of you guys maybe post a random one you've read on the internet or written yourselves that you wouldnt mind me using?

I just picked up the "Critique of pure reason today"

It's taken me half an hour to get through 3 pages, I'm struggling to understand any of this shit. Every two seconds I have to Wikipedia some obscure phrase.

Does everyone have to go through this grind when first getting into philosophy. Or am I just retarded at this subject?
