Well, I think a person who is less intellectually is more of a mental problem generator as the other anon stated above so eloquently. There are of course states of ignorance that bring about suffering too since they can't seem to keep their material life in order, but the people who are smart enough to sustain a living but not intellectually hungry enough to worry about many problems beyond that tend to be most happy I think. There seems to be some golden middle way in society in order to attain a pleasant life. Any more or less brainpower can prove to be a burden.
