>Why yes, I do appreciate being reminded every day of my own inherent imperfection. The need to excrete helps me stay humble and look at others as the flawed human beings they are; for they all poo, from the poorest of lowlives to the mightiest of kings. And yet our design is of such noble consideration that it is our rears that excrete, and not our fronts. As if we were told, forget ye not to look behind thee! Every day, I am reminded to take a moment to pause and think about what vile things I hold inside, and make sure that nobody will (figuratively, I do not live in India) step on them or be poisoned by them on my spiritual path. No good man poos near the river! Poo is what it is, yet it allows us to make the best of it, for there's a way to behave with poo that the wise man can seize. I am glad to be blessed with such an opportunity for discipline. Thank you, God, for making me poo.
