What are some books like Heart of Darkness? Novels or short stories in which the European men goes to the wild and confronts evil? It can bet set in Africa, South America, Asia, Oceania etc.

Why do women seem to be naturally repulsed by analytic philosophy? You can see several women hanging out in the continental department but hardly one of them cross the fence. Today I was participating in a law and logic master's selection process and out of 70 candidates, only 3 were women. What's up with that?

My life is falling apart because I seriously lack motivation in my life; its as if i'm suffering from a 4 year existential crisis.
My question is, are you motivated by books/literature?
If yes which ones?

I welcome any suggestions and i'm also open to any ideas/concepts.
