because they have no access to the materials they need to shave

aren't they reclusive as well? you don't need to shave if you are not around anyone.
pride only exists in relation to other people. when you are by yourself who cares!

How do I read faster while still enjoying the book? I try to stop subvocalizing but it leads to a bad reading experience. I am only reading about 20-30 pages but this is the only speed where I feel like I am having a good time reading and am comprehending everything. Everyone is apparently reading at 60+ pages an hour though. How do people actually enjoy reading at that speed and how do they take everything in? I feel like that's just skimming at that point. I really want to read more but I want to enjoy the book too.
