So, the ending of Cosmere would probably be:

Adonalsium was shattered for being a dick of a God. After all the events of the books take place, the individual pieces of God's power are transformed through their experiences to be wiser, smarter people.
Hoid's goal was to bring the shards back together to reforge Adonalsium, and his essence will be the base layer. All the now wise shards combine with Hoid (17th shard) to make a God 2.0 who won't be a fucking wanker this time.
