Chapter 2 is called "David Foster Wallace's Nihilism"
I understand him a bit better. No desire to read IJ, but I understand his fans

lets talk Baudrillard.
I'm really interested in his concept of switching the roles of objects and subjects. I'm not finding a good quote, so I'll try to recall some statements. Things like: "It is the object which thinks the subject" or "We must try to think from the position of an object". This also ties into his ideas about Objects as Strange Attractors and Fatal Strategies. These kinds of ideas appear primarliy in his later work, like Fatal Strategies, Impossible Exchange, The Transparency of Evil and The Perfect crime to name a few. Anyone want to weigh in on the implactions of these kinds of ideas?

pic maybe related.
