Disgusting. Please do something with your lives. Consolidating information internally and dying is a blatant disregard to the responsibilities of living; you might as well speed up the process and kill yourself.

Hi /lit/,

I would like to study European History. Thing is, I can't, since I'm poor.
But what the fuck, what do I need a degree for, when I'll never get a job in the field?

So, what are your recommendations on planning an autodidactic study? That is, where should I start, what books should I read, how should I determine what to focus on? What are things I miss by not visiting an actual university that I need make up for?

Any general tips on self-education is also appreciated.

Posting this here also since /his/ seems rather retarded.
