I'm 20 and I do ask out women sometimes but I have to find it within myself to actually do it. I don't meet women irl outside of just being in the same area so all women are strangers to me. I haven't been in the mood to do it for a few months now. There's a lot of hyping myself up and honestly I have nothing to say to them other than I want to go out with them. I'm not about to say they are pretty or cute or something faggoty like that but then I drop the ball like a retard and get nowhere. In total I've asked out 12 girls, two said ok to contacting me and only one date which I fucking hated. This is over a 2 year period, by the way.

I don't like fart sniffing when it comes to what I read but yea. I don't think many people even here care about what I read. I know most people from the get go don't like reading, but then I don't read a lot of Classics, I usually read primary sources and ancient/medieval authors and modern scholarship. Do people care about what I read? No. Is there anybody I can talk to it about? Outside of my Classics professors, no, there isn't anybody who can engage with me in a meaningful way. There are also busy and I'm 20 and they are 60-70. So outside of a walk when they go to their office I don't ever really talk about what I read.

Most of my 'discussions' about what I read are with myself. I just lay out arguments and challenge myself and try to think of responses and try to answer it from what I learnt or found out. I've always been like this. My dad might be willing to listen to me ramble about what I'm reading but he's sort of just being lectured to by me and it isn't much of a conversation.
