The greatest minds of all time were good at both STEM subjects AND soft subjects. If you think you can have a complete understanding of reality with just one of them, then you are just coping really hard. You will see STEM brainlets that can't read Kant saying that it is all meaningless word salad and you will also see pseuds that get mad any time someone uses some basic mathematical formalism do discuss philosophy. Those two kinds of people are engaging in deep cope, if you were smart enough you would ace both the human and the hard sciences, pic related could do it easily:
