Not if you're Marcion. He saw Yahweh and the god of the NT as two totally different gods, with Yahweh as something like a lesser deity, a demiurge, and the NT god as a god of pure goodness. He said that Christians should not try to steal Judaism and pretend to be Jewish. I think a lot of early Christians thought the same, but their views were erased by the Christians who won: the ones doing the Judaism larp.

Marcion is also the reason we have Paul's letters, he was an apostle of Paul. You can find similar viewpoints in some of Paul's letters.

Marcion of Sinope is the only patristic theologian worth paying attention to. Utterly BTFO non-Gnostics.

I don't know why variations of this image come up when you image search him though, as it clearly says 'O A[gios] Loukas'.
