Comfy. I'll always associate Mistborn with one of the best periods of my life.

And for me it was definitely Vin. You are allowed to shit on Sanderson because honestly he IS fairly workmanlike, but Mistborn was one of the most enjoyable lectures I've ever had. I'll always associate Mistborn with a comfy summer. Maybe it's not because of how well written she is as a character, but because it's a complete story that was enjoyable to me, where the protag had a full progression.

Why is every thread full of dudes who are ABSOLUTELY anal autistic about one topic? Like that bitch who kept shitting the thread about flintlock fantasy. You don't like it? OK cool, make your argument and fuck off.
You don't like audio books? OK cool, make your argument and fuck off. You don't have to spend 50 posts trying to convince everyone about it, then get buttmad when people call you a faggot.

Also Mistborn is one of the top fantasy series out there. At least the first trilogy. I can hardly think of a more comfy read. It's clear Sanderson had a clear image about it and had a concise plan on how to tackle this story. I didn't read the second series.

The first Mistborn is so good and some of my best memories reading are when I read Mistborn for the first time like 6ish years ago. I couldn't get into the other Mistborn series, but the first trilogy was just perfect in my opinion. I've since gotten over so many other books that it honestly makes me sad that I'll never be bright-eyes and happy-go-lucky about reading books anymore. Nowadays for me it's ALL about the literary value which is grand coming from someone who likes the fantasy, at least in theory if not fully in practice.
