I'm Russian and I think that German language is overrated. Classical German philosophy is boring (Kant) or a collection of meaningless speculations (Hegel, Heidegger). It amuses me when someone calls German the language of philosophy. German literature after Romanticism isn't worth attention.

I think the same about the Russian language: Russian classics are good, but for the sake of it you shouldn't learn the language.

The most important languages for any European: English, French, Spanish, Italian, Latin, Greek.

Why are G*rman philosophers so ugly? Look at this shit. With few exceptions, looks like they're competing to be the most horrifying abomination in a freak show.
