Hey guys I know this technically isn't the right board for this but I understand that most of you guys have the same feelings that I do, to put it simply, I've been having an existential crisis for fucking years and I am terrified of death, like, horrified of even the thought of it, and I just can't sleep at night, what do?

Hey /lit/
My entire life I have dreamed of being an author - it has always been my life goal.
However, I just can't finish anything I start, I always spend WEEKS planning a novel out in full detail but I only get about 10 pages in before I just give up.
But, I'm writing a non-fiction novel basically for my wife about basically the story of us. But thematically it's mainly about my development as a person and how my relationship with her has matured me and made me into a man. It's also about I suppose how I've changed from being a shy little boy from being a husband and a father for my son. So even though it's written for my wife, it's still loaded with motifs, metaphors etc...
This is the only novel I've ever been able to write basically. Does this mean I can only do non-fiction? But more importantly, should I try to have this novel published? If it's all I can write, and I want to be an author, then maybe I should, but, it's so personal and it's basically an autobiography for someone nobody cares about. What do I do?
