Hello /lit/

I recently finished listening to towers of midnight in whats been a 4 month solid wheel of time start to finish audiobook experience and I found myself spoiled by the quality of the reading (Kate Reading and Michael Kramer) when I was told to move on to a song of ice and fire.

I've started listening to A game of thrones, so far the writing is just on a different level, while the universe isn't as PG as wheel of time and that's something I liked about it, and theres so much smut in Game of thrones that so far I feel a little dirty thinking about G R R Martin with his freakishly hobgoblinesque looks writing this stuff but.. it is still really really good storytelling.

Getting to my problem though, I can't seem to get used to the guy reading this book and before I get very far into it I want to be sure I'm listening to the generally appreciated best reading.

The reader is Roy Avers? I find him to be really neutral and was wondering what you guys listen for in a reader or is this guy pretty much the best reader
