It's basically what I, the perfectionist retard, said — except I disagree that you can skip the authors listed in the Leibniz section. Kant (for instance) directly addresses Cartesian psychology in the first Critique, and I see no reason why one should gimp themselves by not having read the source material first. Kant also gets very close to Berkeley's subjective idealism, a fact which you can tell made him uncomfortable given his attempts to distance the two. That said, I haven't yet read Baumgarten's intervention and it would probably clear up the attacks on Wolff.

The study of philosophy is reading people (actively and with charity) in proper context. The practice of philosophy is dialogue.
