I once thought of a similar story
However it was about some kind of machine man who outlives humanity for a couple of centuries and then goes to space because fuck earth
He also likes apple pie and the story would have been a lot nicer and more optimistic about his travel through the endless cosmos

Guys, lets get this thread back on track. D&E has provided us with a platform for discussing what could be some potentially hilarious stories!

When I was in high school one of my more remedial colleagues would continually bring up (to the teachers chagrin) his interpretation of Beowulf-inspired determinism: Fance. The marriage of fate and chance. He would belt it out any time she asked a question regarding the reasoning of characters, or the purpose of any action.

I think he got an F.
