What are some essential Shakespeare adaptations?

So far, I’ve seen the 1968 Romeo and Juliet, the 1996 Hamlet, Kurosawa’s Ran and the 1953 Julius Caesar. Since Shakespeare is often better watched than read, I’m just wondering if there are any others that do their texts justice and which ones to avoid.

What ones are underrated and what ones are overrated, in your opinion? I always felt that Macbeth, while good, is often frequently overrated. I thought Midsummer Night’s Dream kind of sucked too.

What are some effective ways to improve writing? I struggle with some grammar, sentence structure, I’m decent at imagery, but other than that my prose can seem flat.

What writing exercises are good for improving these skills?

I don’t want book recs, I’ve seen every book on style that’s been mentioned here.
