Are there any books like A Clockwork Orange with heavy use of an internal language or slang?

I just read it and thought it made the book very entertaining.

Is there anyone here very familiar with A Clockwork Orange?
I read that Burgess's wife had been raped just like the writer in the story.
My idea is that Alex symbolizes life and how it repeatedly fucks people over including the author.
In the end life can be conquered.
I just need a topic or an idea about this book to start a brainstorm or maybe look at it in a different perspective.

"How about a bit of the ol' ultraviolence?"
"Sick, I can go around raping and pillaging again."

I am looking for the most ultraviolent, pornographic, and disgusting passages there are.

Now of the other shop, I need some truly amazing quotes that support why this book is a good read. I am looking for the moral lessons, the self vs. the government, cal like that.

A Clockwork Orange is my favorite book. I'm supposed to write an essay on why it's meaningful to me, but I can't even think about how to approach it. Advice, /lit?

50 years later, are the themes of the book still of relevance?

Apart from the political aspect, the problems seem essentially "solved", or lets say:
The morals preached in this work are essentially common opinion.

Sometimes, I wish I was absolved of all my responsibilities, ie reverted to a teenager so I could form a gang of hooligans who drank milk with drugs in it and ran around town beating the shit out of random people.

Thanksgiving is usually a family shitstorm...but this year...this year was a bit different.

I started A Clockwork Orange a few days ago and its sitting on my table beside my bed. Today I ended up having long conversations about it with both my father and grandfather throughout the day. It turns out my family reads more than what I originally thought.

Does your family read, /lit/?

Can someone give me a damn description (something like what would be on the back of the book, maybe a bit more in depth) of a Clockwork Orange?

Wikipedia doesn't want to tell me without having me essentially read spark notes, and I can't find a description elsewhere.

Hey, /lit/, for a class I have to compare the two polar opposite characters of a book. I chose to read A Clockwork Orange. I was thinking that maybe Dim and Alex are two good characters to pick but I'm unsure. Who would you say, in the book, is COMPLETELY opposite of Alex?
