Nearly all of my friends have become self-identified neoliberals. I fought with them all over the last 3-6 months, mostly due to the mask and vaccine bullshit.

It was very painful to hear my friends basically say, "yeah well, I'm making 120k selling dog products on amazon and my mortgage is getting paid off fast, if I speak up, I'll be broke"

It is like everyone knows that consoomerism is the undeniable god of this world... just plug in, buy shit, and turn off your brain.

Maybe we are just victims of comfort? Seems like that is all that people want in 2021.

I completely understand. The door has been shut on any "non-mainstream" ideas it seems, as people's brains have been vaccinated against information that is critical of the current narrative.
>My next book is about a guy who fights back against the wave of crime, drugs and lawlessness in Vancouver.
The future ain't going to be pretty, and the people who are totally sleep in 2021 are going to be rudely awakened soon...
>I have hope though, because with scenes like pic related becoming commonplace in Vancouver, I think people are ready for new information and alternative voices.

It is sad to witness so many people on /Lit/ attacking each other in bad faith. So many angry people here who do not want to be constructive, instead, they simply want to shit on anyone they can.

Makes me wonder if the shills on /pol/ aren't just contained there...

He sounds unwell... is the book really about murdering the homeless? That's fucking crazy.

Is it really counter-culture to kill the homeless though? The amounts of overdoses and stuff that happens daily in Vancouver is pretty nuts. Seems like murdering addicts is state-sanctioned if they can't even stop it after pouring 1+ million a day into the DTES of Vancouver. (downtown east side)
