There are dragons in the bible, classifying it as fantasy.

It’s black as the abyss. Boon,” he called. A shadow pooled on the ground behind him “Yes your majesty?” he answered his summons immediately. “When did he arrive?” “Late last night, sire,” Boon’s soft voice whispered from the shadows “I inquired about his lateness your majesty. He was vague in his excuse; he spoke a tale that was more of a riddle. He said there was a small holdup on the road. I couldn’t tell if he was involved in a fight with some beast or holed up drunk in a brothel for days the way he spun his story,” Boon finished. “We thought he had fallen prey to something in the wilds, he was due to arrive last week,” Porcella piped in. The coliseum full of dragoon spectators erupted into cheers. He turned his head at the noise, refocusing on the game in time to see the man reach the top of a mound, claiming a champion spot. The uproar was hardly surprising; the man was easily the most powerful champion to ever compete in Ascension.

from an epistemological point of view we must consider the following for the existence of god
to find out if something is true or false we must examine the following - few simple tests
[the bullet points are cut from wikipedia the argument is my own]

* whether subjective experience counts as evidence for objective reality
* whether either logic or evidence can rule in or out the supernatural
* whether an object of the mind is accepted for existence
* whether a truthbearer can justify."

1 - no god is not logical, lodgical arguments for life and death; i have yet to discover, people live and die at random, as are the decisions they opt to make or situations they find themselvs in
2- can you directly observe god not the things claimed to be created by god but god himself. NO.
3- is there any evidence physical or otherwise of gods existance? no other than people saying he does, yes some people say they have profound experiances of god or some being, however the effect of being told that this happens is similar to that of drugs in drugs trials... [cant think of it's name umm empty pills... you know no effect but psychological]

4- an apperition that only one can see is this proof god exists? no, as we lock up schtophrenics we should not trust those who see things weather it be jesus or god, some people feel so strongly that god exists [they have been raised as such and have lived all there life believing as such] they WANT to have an apparition so they ed up having one - this said it's circumstantial

there is no truth barer for the existance of god.
god is a lie. god is dead

Non Fiction literature that ponders the existence of God, go!

So i liked Man's search for meaning from Viktor Frankl, I've read (and liked) the Cerniage book How to find friends and influence people. Will /lit/ give me another title that i might enjoy?
