Planescape: Torment
KotoR2: The Sith Lords

Id also put Max Payne much above your average genre fiction and easily on the level of tons of good literature, but MP is a more coherent experience that never forgets being a game instead of focusing on writing and characters like the aforementioned games

I heavily suggest kotor 2 to anyone who likes star wars even a little bit and can appreciate good writing. The characters in that game are absolutely amazing. Link related is something that was posted on /v/ yesterday, although the poster said its still incomplete. Its a piece about one of the main characters of kotor 2, and one of the best female characters of all time in general

Thanks for proving you havent actually played Torment. I normally play games because theyre the complete opposite of reading books, getting to appreciate the mechanics, graphics, audio etc etc. Torment surprised me with how it basically is a book with shitty gameplay, and an actually good book at that. Pic related is also from one of "these" games that curbstomps basically every not-godtier fantasy work.

Give them a villainous voice actor.
