Calling someone a nigger is too far but bringing up my mental illness isn't?

And I have actually read McCullers and a lot of criticism on her, I know what I'm talking about and it annoys me when people like you insult her and make unsubstantiated claims and when I tell you that you are wrong you call me autistic and mentally ill instead of backing yourself. Another example of this being when I asked you what was shallow about my post, you ignored again.

It's a work of fiction anon, Bubber suffered emotionally and the family suffered economically, there was a purpose behind that plot-line that served its use. I don't think legal consequences would have enriched the narrative anymore and sending Bubber to jail for the sake of realism would have made a sub-plot overshadow the main one.
