My soul is screaming at me
Just how easy it is to die
The unarticulated lie from an intoxicated head
And indeed my time may be short
But i feel fine, i've been waiting a long time
Now it's me who decides if i took way too much or not enough
I may have minutes to spare but it's all so peaceful
I could've died before i got my blisters
And scars
But so far i stick to them, my spirit to a damaged body
Maybe some day i'll hope to live
But for now i want to die
And with methadone and xanax in my blood i stare at the sunless sky
And i am enveloped in calm
A blanket of safety
As my body roams these empty halls
Stumbling and smouldering until the last ashes dissapear

Two hundred miles apart, a dog howls as it goes in for the kill
And in a quiet neighborhood a boy sees something he will see forever in his dreams
And when a rotten apple is eaten, the sicknesses pass through you
And you think you'll be fine but no, you really won't
