Yeah, no. This is 100% pure copium for losers. I've been NEET, it only works as long as you stay ignorant. You are perturbed by messy rooms, job prospects and society's expectations do matter, you do get concerned with income and you aren't incapable of getting seriously employed. Being NEET happens when you can't overcome your own fear of failure, so you gotta pretend everything is exactly how you want because the alternative is something you're too scared to take on, especially when you have low self-confidence which comes from staying inside, having no accomplishments and no friends. Staying up all night, sleeping until 5 in the evening and then browsing 4chan half that time doesn't make anyone happy. Choosing to stay NEET is choosing to give up on yourself. No one I've ever met has been happy as a NEET, they've been trying not to kill themselves out of shame. Literally just take a risk and don't give up when you make mistakes, you have to learn to be responsible for yourself and accept that "successful people" are not much better than you at everything, they've just been working harder than you for a lot longer.
