I'm trying to write a book ambiented in the early 1900s, and I'd like to read some books that were popular back then, or that could help me write in a similar style that the one which was used back then.

Friends want me to read Being in Time with them this summer.

I’m motivated but have very little philosophical background. Anything quick that i could read before to prepare me? i’m fine with learning as i go and dont expect to master the material. i just want to avoid being so unprepared that i get nothing from the reading

am i hopeless?

Only a handful of them are actually depressed, the rest are just basedboys that try very hard to fit in.

Hey guys. I have recently started reading spring snow by Mishima and so far it's been somewhat underwhelming.

I'm not a huge fan of descriptive imagery for the sake of descriptive imagery and so far there has been little else.

I am curious of your thoughts about Mishima; this is the first of his works I've gotten around to.
