I don't come here too often, but I feel like I've never seen anyone here talk about or even mention Steinbeck. What do you guys think of him? I for one was forced to read two of his books in high school (The Pearl and Of Mice and Men) and ended up loving them both. They are just such perfectly dismal stories.
