Pedophiles are a diverse group of people.

If you have the courage, feel free to step into the Pedophile Support Community on Tor. It's a forum where sharing illegal images or links is forbidden, even through personal messaging, but discussion is absolutely open to everything. There are pedophiles ranging from ones admitting to having committed crimes, to ones who think that even watching videos of child sexual abuse is morally wrong and refuse doing so, and these groups have civil discussions and relatively rational debates.

I don't know if it's currently open for registration. If it is, make an honest introduction post. Say e.g. that you're not a pedophile (I assume you're not) and that you're just very curious about them and promise not to disrupt the peace of their forum. That will likely get you accepted; it's a very civil and nice place. This is not a joke. Lying to get your registration accepted is also an option, but I don't think it's necessary.

Sorry if I'm causing any disturbance or cognitive dissonance by talking about this so calmly. What I personally find most interesting about pedophilic topics is their intersection with radical feminist ideology. (Radfems are very very strongly against any and all sorts of sexual violence, exploitation, and otherwise asshole moves, but at the same time they envision a fully and entirely sexually liberated culture like that of bonobos where sexual violence doesn't exist and women can thus be truly sexually liberated, unlike in contemporary western culture where women still are under threat of sexual disrespect and exploitation even by "liberal" men. I don't buy it that BDSM and porn are "sexual liberation" in the true sense.)
