She also likes Céline, Mishima, and even reads Evola.

She does not like my man Houellebecq though.

I don't read authors who's physiognomy I dislike, but Houellebecq's novels looks interesting to me. Is he worth making an exception for? And if so, where do I start with this goofy looking nigga

Women are empty inside. Germfag here. I wanted to buy "Serotonin(e)" yesterday. I went to a bookshop and asked for the "new Houellebecq". The shop assistant asks me: "How do you spell Houellebecq?" in return. Seriously, what the fuck. She's selling fucking books and doesn't know who the fuck Michel Houellebecq is.

Houellebecq's point is that the dynamics of the sexual marketplace, like any free market, trend inexorably towards monopoly. There is an elite class of men who have an enormous amount of sex, while the bottom 80% have none or significantly less.

In Extension of the Domain of the Struggle, Tisserand is describly as hideously ugly. He tearfully admits to the narrator (who is clearly Houellebecq himself) that he is still a virgin in his late 20s. Houellebecq says in interviews that he was a virgin until his mid-to-late 20s too, but he was never as hideously ugly as he described Tisserand. The ugly shots of Houllebecq (pic related) were mostly taken after his dog died (which happened a year or so after a girlfriend broke up with him). I thought Submission was a better book, although I really enjoyed the themes of TEP.

Lads, this year has been perhaps the worst in my life. I am losing my mind. I started the year as a pretty normal person. I don't even really know what happened,but I have watched myself decay in my mirror every morning. Last night, I went to bed watching an ASMR video. And it actually felt good. Don't read contemporary fiction if you want to learn about literature. It's like listening to top 40 bands to learn about music. 99% of everything hailed as genius is shit. Every decade will produce 100 great books worldwide, and one undisputed work of genius.
