Got a fat interview tomorrow. It's not for a job that I want, but it's a job. Any amount of money is more than I'm making now. Wish me luck, but please pray that I get a call from some of the other jobs I've applied for. I've got some real interest in those!
Thinking of inviting my ex to play D&D with a solid group of friends at some point. Maybe a one shot, but I'd like to do a real campaign. I just want her in my life somehow. I'm just happier that way. Whatever comes of it will be good enough, I'm sure.
I read a quote by Jim O'Rourke today where he talked about how he thinks that it's ineffective to try to be creative. That was hard to read as someone who is actively trying to be more creative. But he releases like 20 projects a year, so his creative avenues are fully formed and constantly producing, whereas I am just starting out. Forming habits and making spaces that will allow me to be as creative as I possibly can be is probably gonna end up being key in my own creative development. I can worry about trying to actually be creative after those are formed.
