What we really need is not an old Medievalism but a Neomedievalism. We need to revive Medieval understandings of God, Truth, Beauty, and the Other, and reshape a modern society along those lines. That way, we can keep all the conveniences and advances of Modernity (which was really more like the teenage years of the human race) while gathering to ourselves the wisdom and prudence of the Ancients and the Medievals.
