What is a good job for an autodidact? Like - what doesn't require college but will still be technically or intellectually stimulating?

Has anyone here ever read anything by Andy Warhol?

I know he's considered by many to be a charlatan whose art wasn't really art, but his books are actually quite readable. He's pretty observant and has some interesting things to say about people and society and such. He also has a really good deadpan sarcasm. I'll give you an example:

> There are so many songs about love. But I was thrilled the other day when somebody mailed me the lyrics to a song that was about how he didn't care about anything, and how he didn't care about me. It was very good. He managed to really convey the idea that he really didn't care.

I mean, this is just hysterical.

Another good line:

> I'm a city boy. In the big cities they've set it up so you can go to a park and be in a miniature countryside, but in the countryside they don't have any patches of big city, so I get very homesick.
