That's what I was half-expecting, until I saw a pic of the new Nook today and burst out laughing.

Then I read further and learned that they added touch, BUT stripped out 3G, web-browsing, and music-playing. So it's basically the Kobo Touch's deformed twin, born a day later.

On that note, the best comment I've seen:
