Truthfully I find Adachi's works to be quite clichéd, more often than not, with the theme almost always being the passion of youth, set in the backdrop of the Kōshien. Sport YA basically.
They are definitely well-crafted though and I would still recommend checking out his short stories at the very least, which are arguably something he excels at
