You just stirred up a hornets' nest, OP. This thread is full of deceivers that will try to convince you that it's all right to give in to the lust of the flesh, either for their ignorance or genuine malice. Ignore them, because what you strive for is genuine virtue, and they do this as well to anyone who wants to be righteous.

You do already read the Bible, but you may find some insight on this subject in the greek and scholastic philosophy as well. Try also
to develop some control and discipline with all kinds of carnal pleasure, not only the lustful, because the spirit is always willing but the flesh is weak.
