>so, you want to be a writer?

if it doesn't come bursting out of you
in spite of everything,
don't do it.
unless it comes unasked out of your
heart and your mind and your mouth
and your gut,
don't do it.
if you have to sit for hours
staring at your computer screen
or hunched over your
typewriter
searching for words,
don't do it.
if you're doing it for money or
fame,
don't do it.
if you're doing it because you want
women in your bed,
don't do it.
if you have to sit there and
rewrite it again and again,
don't do it.
if it's hard work just thinking about doing it,
don't do it.
if you're trying to write like somebody
else,
forget about it.

if you have to wait for it to roar out of
you,
then wait patiently.
if it never does roar out of you,
do something else.

if you first have to read it to your wife
or your girlfriend or your boyfriend
or your parents or to anybody at all,
you're not ready.

don't be like so many writers,
don't be like so many thousands of
people who call themselves writers,
don't be dull and boring and
pretentious, don't be consumed with self-
love.
the libraries of the world have
yawned themselves to
sleep
over your kind.
don't add to that.
don't do it.
unless it comes out of
your soul like a rocket,
unless being still would
drive you to madness or
suicide or murder,
don't do it.
unless the sun inside you is
burning your gut,
don't do it.

when it is truly time,
and if you have been chosen,
it will do it by
itself and it will keep on doing it
until you die or it dies in you.

there is no other way.

and there never was.

(Charles Bukowski)

>First and foremost,

Life will have no meaning until you heal gynecomastia. Unless you are some Nobel laureate, a King or a lotto winner, NO ONE will give you a time of their day. You will be in the most inferior caste in society. Read all negativity that stems from being a short or a bald male and multiply that by a hundred. Gynecomastia has to be one of the worst things that could happen to a man.

Look for public healthcare. You can get a surgery to heal gynecomastia in most countries through public healthcare.

I am being serious. Make this the GOAL of your next year.

>We got Gynecomastia out of the way?

Everything else is easy.

>5'11

Height is the single most important metric both in the professional and sexual markets. Unlike gynecomastia, you can't heal being short with any surgery. You are tall and be glad for it.

>14 pounds is absolutely nothing
>900 dollars debt is absolutely nothing
>born eyes is absolutely nothing
>losing hair by 30 is absolutely nothing, I deal everyday with incredibly sad boys who have lost most by 21
>I don't believe any of your personality disorders because you both lack self-knowledge and professional input
>your lack of experience in job and dating is absolutely nothing. You are 23, not 33 or 43

Besides your gynecomastia and your problems with your dad, everything else is mendable and you have a massive edge over most kids your age who are coming to terms that nobody will ever love them.

I no physical therapist, just want to help.

I see your posts here everyday.

I am not saying that journaling is bad (it is much better than not jounaling), but it seems to make absolutely no difference for your attitude.

Please, make a bet:

Take one thousand pounds and call it a bet that you will find or won't find happiness in one year. Which side would you make the bet on, success or failure to find happiness? If you say 'failure', you must definitely rethink your life because you don't believe in whatever you are doing.

You are so awfully specific about the personality that you projected on three paragraphs of advice that I must assume you think I am yourself or someone from your personal life.

Get help.

Okay, this thread has just become interesting and I'm tempted to believe you two are correct with the Jungian explanation.

This is a mediocre play for feminists.

'Time and the Conways' is the superior Priestley work. The capitalist shy short guy is the actual hero while everyone else is a mean asshole.
