The differences between what is and what isn't, or imagined and imaginer, are merely conventional, but lay the ground for reality to spike from it as a perpendicular force. To imagine is to choose that which you are not. To think is to point to what isn't there. All that is left of this, is.

I feel bad that edginess has turned into an object of mockery. I'm all forth people being edgy. Sure, the criticism heads towards gratuituous extreme positions abundant in shock value but devoid of thought. But you know, it is even more dangerous to have the mild attitude, the apathetic mind, the unchallenged stupidity, the weight of one's ass on the security of the armchair. I'll always be in favour of the moronic teenager with a fever, the satanic, the hardcore, the unscrupulous action. It provokes whatever was previously estabilished to move, it is also easier to break face over it and change and learn, much better than the behaved and just apparently harmonic guy who could not get the chance to know what he is missing. Edginess has been transformed into a sign of insecurity and the compensation of that insecurity, whereas you could think of edginess as a sign of extreme confidence, compensating only for the attitudes and thoughts of others. If you have a conservative society around you, better to just rub trap scat porn on their faces than to poke it just slightly with a dirty pun, a provocation that would soon be engulfed into nothingness. In this scenario, it is better to overdose than to go for the homeopathic measure. To find the right dose is important, but in general, I'd rather incentivate the folly than prudence, because if one of the two goes out of hand, the excess of prudence would produce the most hazardous results to one's conscience: stagnation, conformity.

Is there any chance of poetry ever becoming a mainstream concern again in America?

What does poetry need to do to get into people's lives the same way music is in people's lives?

Are we approaching a golden age of poetry, or seeing its complete decline?
