Its not exactly black and white. There are arguments either way. Personally I don't see hunting as immoral. We are predators. But I also don't view death as a horrible event that is to be avoided at all costs. Death is natural. Killing can even be compassionate in many cases.

I just listened to The Partially Examined Life Philosophy Podcast for the first time. It was episode 114 "Schopenhauer: The World is Will". It was pretty good actually. I'm going to listen to all their Schopenhauer stuff now. Do they have other good stuff lit?

Also: they shilled thegreatcourses.com internet course Modern Intellectual Tradition from Decartes to Derrida. Does anyone know if it is any good? I'm probably gonna check it out.
