I think people who argue in this manner tend to not really get what gnosticism really means at its core. Evil is more than just an adjective used to describe things that produce suffering, it's a substance, a foundational mechanism that is as incompatible with spirit as water is with oil. It's not "the world is evil" as a qualitative description (though it can also be that), it's more like "the world is made of evil, it runs on evil". It goes farther than just moralism, it's evil as a mechanism that works against all you deem "worth it" in the world.

Case in point here. The existence of beauty is tarnished by the gears of evil, always. This doesn't mean beauty doesn't exist in the world, it just means that it doesn't belong there.

Why should I believe this arbitrary bullshit instead of the thousands of pages of resources from actual gnostic scriptures and thinkers? Burden of proof is on you to demonstrate there is any truth to the claims you're making. Wild claims about the nature of reality are plentiful, your prison planet stuff isn't new or original, nor is it insightful or interesting when compared to actual metaphysical systems.

I'm doing you a favor here. By buying into this shit, you're doing the exact same thing as other religious dogmatists when they convince themselves they need to subscribe to a particular soteriology. There is no unified gnostic model, you make the model, by spamming this video everywhere all you're doing is proselytizing (inherently anti-gnostic) and spreading yet another pointless system, another narrative, another dogma. There is only one thing to do in order to get out of here, and that is to realize the nature of the world, which is not going to happen by you taking the particular narrative (that isn't even a coherent metaphysical system, just a bunch of claims) of some dude at face value and making that the center of the world. You, the individual, are the center.
