The only reason /lit/ anons think women can't write good literature is because they haven't read Sigrid Undset yet.

However, it is correct that men on average are better at writing lit, though there are certainly some women who can do it.

This is partly because of IQ distribution; men tend to be either brilliant or retarded, with most being either high IQ or low IQ.

Women on the other hand are centralized near the middle of the IQ distribution--most of them are neither brilliant or completely braindead, just mid.

This leads also to fewer women caring about lofty artistic ideals or merit, so that most of them just want low-effort, easily-digestible genre fiction.

It's also why the best chess players are men.
